Lindsay Jang: Consistency is the Whole Game

Restaurateur and wellness entrepreneur Lindsay Jang on why routine — not the latest protocol — is what keeps you feeling your best

I’m an operator-turned-consultant based in Hong Kong, working globally.

Over the years I’ve built a Michelin-starred restaurant, a creative agency, a licensed wellness method and a longevity medicine partnership — all connected by one idea: hospitality, making people feel good across every kind of experience. I bring that same instinct to my own health. The through-line is consistency: I keep my non-negotiables short, and I never miss them. That’s the whole game.

‘The magic isn’t in the fancy thing you do once. It’s in the boring thing you do every day’

SAME ROUTINE, ANYWHERE

I keep the exact same routine no matter where I am in the world. When I travel, my protocols don’t change — same sleep, same exercise, same vitamins, peptides and hormones. Consistency doesn’t get a day off just because you’re in a different time zone. The magic isn’t in the fancy thing you do once. It’s in the boring thing you do every day.

MOVE EVERY DAY

I sweat six days a week and I walk every single day. My workout of choice is heated sculpt — I built a hot studio in my home so there’s no excuse to skip it. The best routine is the one you’ll actually repeat, so I keep it something I look forward to, not something I have to force.

MEASURE, DON’T GUESS

I test my biomarkers quarterly and get a comprehensive body check once a year. It’s how I know everything I’m doing is actually working — that the effort is pointed in the right direction. You can’t manage what you don’t measure.

THE BEST DECISION I EVER MADE

I gave up alcohol more than three and a half years ago, and it’s the single best thing I’ve done — for my health, my sleep, my mood and my life overall. It never felt like giving something up. Removing it gave everything else back.

SLEEP FIRST

I’m asleep by 9pm or 10pm and I aim for a full eight hours. Nothing else works if you’re not sleeping — no supplement or protocol fixes a bad night. Guard your sleep, and everything else gets easier.

DISCIPLINE OVER MOTIVATION

I don’t wait to feel motivated — motivation comes and goes. The routine is the point. When something is non-negotiable, you stop debating it and just do it, and that’s what makes it stick. Discipline is what carries you on the days you don’t feel like it — and those are the days that count.
